Lucinda Williams, Queen of the Broken-Hearts. Lucinda put on a great show filled with songs from all periods, with a killer new guitarist, at the Boulder Theater. She knows how to work a crowd! An interesting side-note, she frequently had the pages of a songbook opened to refer to. Interesting to see, I think it was kind of a security blanket. Miss Williams has got to be one of the nicest performers of her stature, she still meets and greets all her fans after the show, and is very personable and warm. Sounds like she went on a clothes shopping spree in Boulder...
