"Back to grade school"- pattern and texture, math and building blocks, just
like the music of Tortoise. This one really pops out in the gallery. Half
of the edition was done with opposite primary colors just like an art-school
project. Op art for the kids. Some of the edition were printed on textured
off-white paper, and the muted ink experiments with soft pastel color-wheel
opposites are pretty interesting in their own right. Daniel Lanois put on a
great show, concentrating on the material from his solid pedal steel CD
'Belladona'. This combo-concert brought out all the musicians in town!
